GoAir, a popular budget carrier among travellers recently made a big announcement. The Airline will be starting flight services on seven new international routes. This will include daily flights to Bangkok, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, and Kuwait from major stations like New Delhi, Mumbai and Kannur.
While Dubai, Bangkok and Kuwait are new expansions in the international market, the other destinations already connected on the Airline’s network through other domestic cities. The latest announcements are a part of GoAir’s buildout in the new markets, starting from 19th July. The newly introduced international routes are subject to regulatory approval as of now.
Jeh Wadia, Managing Director and CEO of GoAir said “These planned launches will strengthen GoAir’s presence in the Middle East and South East Asian countries. The network expansion is in sync with our vision to expand our footprint in strategic markets and to grow our business profitably,” He added that “This time GoAir is entering new destinations such as Kuwait, Dubai and Bangkok and we intend to continue the momentum in the near future”.
So far, GoAir has ongoing flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru to Maldives and Phuket and from Kannur to Muscat and Abu Dhabi in addition to vast web connecting multiple Indian cities.
